We have redesigned our Giant Eagle, to be more realistic and yet still usable as a mount.
In LEGO terms, the eagle is: 18 studs wide with wings fully outstretched. 10 studs head-to-tail. 4+ bricks tall. In scale measurements that would be: 18 foot wingspan, 12.5 feet from head to tail, about 6 feet at the shoulder.
